  The Return of BARTER FRIDAY!! 

   (NOT on Black Friday!) December 5th, 2025   

This year we will hold our annual Barter Friday media swap on Friday, December 5th. A week AFTER Black Friday!!

Once again Breakaway bucks the typical Black Friday / Cyber Monday buy-til-you-die system with a counter-dose of straight record tradin’.

On Friday, December 5th you, the beloved customer, get FULL 100% TRADE VALUE for your used wares! Bring a record that we’d price $25, and you get the full $25 in store credit.

HERE’S THE DEETS:

  • We will accept vinyl (LPs, 12”s, 45s), cassettes, and VHS (no gear, sorry!)

  • There’s a 15 item maximum

  • Everything must be valued (by us!) at $10 or higher

  • The Barter Hours are 12-5pm (we’re open 11-7pm, but there’s a limit to the madness)
